Organic Siberian Kale (500mg) Description:
Siberian Kale grows throughout the colder season, giving you a harvest of healthy and flavorful organic kale for use in green salads and cooked dishes. Use 100% heirloom kale seeds from Patriot Seeds to start your Siberian Kale crop. Our seeds are certified organic by the USDA and California Certified Organic Farmers, as well as non-GMO and sourced from the USA.

Organic Siberian Kale Planting Instructions:
Direct sow Siberian Kale seeds about three months before the last expected frost in the fall. Sow seeds 1/2 inch to one inch deep, 3' apart, and in rows spaced 18 to 20" apart. Siberian Kale does best in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade. To reduce disease in your kale crop, do not plant kale or other cole plants in the same location more than once every 3 to 4 years. Grow time is about 70 days.

Organic Kale: Kale Harvesting Instructions:
Harvest your kale crop immediately after the first frost. Pick leaves that are bright green and fresh for use in cooking and salads. The outer leaves of the kale can be picked when they are 8 to 10" long, as needed for fresh use. Do not pick the center leaves, as doing so will discourage continued growth. Kale will keep growing until the temperatures dip below 20 F. The leaves will taste a bit sweeter after frost.

Did You Know This About Siberian Kale?
