Organic Tendergreen Cucumber Planting Instructions:
Cucumbers do not do well when transplanted. Instead, direct sow the seeds in full sun 1/2 inch deep, 3" apart, and in groups of 4 to 6 per hill. Space the hills 3 to 4' apart. When the plants are 1 to 2" tall, thin to 3 seedlings per hill. Cucumbers are a heat-loving plant and cannot handle even a light frost. If cold temperature is forecasted, cover the seedlings. Mulch the plants to control weeds, conserve moisture, and keep the fruit off the ground.

Organic Tendergreen Cucumber Harvesting Instructions:

Generally, slicing Cucumbers are ready to harvest when they are 6 to 8'long. For pickling, the fruit should be 3 to 5' long. For Tendergreen Cucumbers, the fruit will be ready to harvest in about 64 days. Cucumbers taste the best when they are harvested young, before their seeds are fully developed. Cut the fruit from the vine, rather than pulling, to avoid damaging the plant.

Did You Know This About Tendergreen Cucumber?
Tendergreen Cucumbers are also known as Tendergreen Burpless Cucumbers. A Burpless Cucumber produces little or no cucurbitacin, a compound that can cause bitterness and, you guessed it, indigestion.
