My seed vault was packaged in 2012, so I decided to start using them hoping to replace them soon. I started with the beef steak tomato seeds and they all sprouted well… Amazing! I will replace my seeds as soon as they are back in stock and research on saving seeds from the current plants!

I bought the original survival seed vault 8 years ago in 2012 and left it in the fridge all this time, now 2020. Of everything we planted this year (cantaloupe, bush beans, tomatoes, carrots, onions, etc.) ALL OF IT GREW! 100% GERMINATION! AFTER 8 YEARS! Truly astonishing. This is worth every penny and then some.

These are the perfect seeds. I've had my seeds stored for 5 years when I found them. I put them in my garage fridge to hopefully extend the shelf life. I opened the first set about 3 months ago to test them. Keep the seeds in between 2 damp paper towels until they shoot out roots (2-3 days). Then place them spaced accordingly in the garden dirt. 99% of the seeds took off! This is fun, we teach the kids and who knows, if shtf we could be feeding our neighbors. Amen

Never had any luck planting seeds before. Planted quite a few different varieties and had success in my first year of container gardening. Delightful to see what the plants and flowers for each looked like. Now I can identify a cucumber or squash plant. Husband told me in my second year that it was really hard to grow tomato plants from seed. All of mine came up and are standing tall, getting ready to flower. This year the squash already has blooms that turn into squash, another fascinating thing to watch. Had so many cucumbers from a few plants last year I was able to give some away. I had to learn what fertilizers to use on various seeds, but I am so pleased with the fact that these seeds actually grow to yield crops, and the vegetables are delicious! SO much better than store bought. Even better than some farmers. Hope I get to order some more.
