A book about prevention, identification, and long-term management of survivable medical conditions.

In the event of an actual emergency in your region, you may be lacking in emergency services as they are over-extended trying to reach everyone at once, or unable to get to you due to road conditions or weather. During this time it is imperative you find a way to take care of yourself, or those around you.

When a medical emergency arises, this book will guide you through how to handle it so you don't need to rely on someone else. Being self reliant means you can take care of these things without needing outside assistance. Find out how to dress wounds, handle certain bites, and even how to suture wounds.

This book provides the basis of prevention, identification, and long-term management of survivable medical conditions and can be performed with minimal training. It helps you identify sources of materials you will need and should stock-pile, it discusses storage issues, and directs you to sources for more complex procedures that require advanced concepts of field-expedient techniques used by trained medical persons such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, dentists, or midwifes and obstetricians.

Prepper's Medical Handbook

I am very pleased, I ordered this along with two cans of banana chips. The medical book was an add-on but it looks like it is professionally edited and printed, and there are neat, uncluttered drawings that supplement the text. I like My Patriot Supply partly because of their quick shipping, my items arrived in a few days, sooner than I expected.

Preppers Hand Book - covers a lot of ground!

So I only just received it and have flipped through it but I am impressed with the breadth of material covered and what looked like deep dives into the procedures. I look forward to spending more time with this handbook and familiarizing myself with some of the essential materials and tools/equipment needed to be better prepared for whatever comes our way.

Glad You Carry This Book

I appreciate Dr. Forgey's new edition. I have followed his directions since the 1970's as a physician who teaches prepping. Glad you care it. Medicine for Mountaineering is also good to add to your collection, as well as "The Sanford Giude to Antimicrobial Therapy 2021, and "The Five Minute Clinical Consult Standard 2021.
