My experience purchasing this item was effortless. Upon inspecting it, it is obvious that this handsaw is very well made, and the material of the cable appears to be plenty sharp and durable. I expect it should hold up well. I can't speak to how well it works as I have yet to try it out.

I was surprised by how well it worked cutting wood for a camp fire it not meant for large pieces of wood but will get the job done .

Too good to be true
Unfortunately it doesn't work well at all. Both my husband and I tried it on a dried out, upright 2inch diameter branch, and it caught after about 1/8 inch in. Worked really well for about 6-8 sets, and we got excited. But once it catches, there is no amount of teasing, tugging, that would make it go again. Tried several times. Now it will reside in three bottom of the camping box, because hope dies last. The saying goes"if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". And in this case it holds true.
