Decent Taste-Hard To Rehydrate
"I tried this for the first time today. I put a small amount in a bowl and poured boiling water on it, covered it for 6 minutes. At 6 minutes, I wouldn't have wanted to eat it. I did try a piece, but it was still crunchy in the middle. I dumped the water and added more boiling water. Six minutes later-better but not great. I let it sit for six more minutes-good enough that I ate it, but not amazing. The taste is ok, bland beef but not bad. Next time I think I will boil water with seasonings in a pot and add the beef and let it simmer for a while. This will be great for adding in to soups, rice and stroganoff."
