- Sun & Soil – Plant your seeds in full sun, 1/8 to 1/2 inch deep and 3 to 4 inches apart.
- Grow Time – Expect around 80 days for full growth.
- Start Indoors – Begin 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost, in soil trays or pots.
- Transfer – When true leaves appear, move to 3- to 4-inch pots.
- Transplanting – Bury seedlings until the lowest leaves are just above the soil. Fertilize well. Transplant 2 to 4 weeks after the last frost.
- Spacing – Space plants 2 to 3 inches apart.
