Cleaning the chambers
The outer surfaces of your stainless steel Alexapure Pro chambers are easy to keep clean by dusting with a soft cloth. Prior to your first use, rinse the interiors with cool, clean water.
Cleaning the exterior of the filters
Mineral content in untreated water may cause build up on the hybrid ceramic shell of the Alexapure filter unit. While this in no way affects the filtration process, you can clean the outer surfaces of your filters. Be sure to carefully remove them from the upper chamber first. Scrub them with a scour pad (no soap) and clean water, rinse thoroughly and replace them in the upper chamber.
Changing the filters

**Chlorine reduction claims are not performance tested beyond 200 gallons. Additional performance claims are based on independent laboratory and manufacturer’s internal test data. Actual performance is dependent on influent water quality, flow rates, system design and application. Results may vary.
This system has been tested for the reduction of the substances listed in the product test data sheets. The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI 53. Minimum substance reductions are listed on the provided test data sheets for testing up to 200 gallons.
System and installation to comply with state and local laws and regulations. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or unknown quality without adequate testing and/or disinfection before or after the system. Manufactured from NSF/ANSI standard 61 and California Prop 65 Compliant certified coconut shell carbon and raw materials.
For the best results, store replacement filters at temperatures above 35°F. Keep the filter moist and from drying out at all times for maximum filtration capacity.

United Statesputs out plenty of good water
We got this kit a few weeks ago but only installed 2 of the filters to see how it did with just 2. For our use 2 has turned out to be plenty. I got these for a few reasons - 1 to have a means of having good drinking wate rin an emergency. 2 because we go through a lot of storebought water because my wife is picky about the taste of her water and will not drink tapwater. We've tried other filters but she says it still tastes bad. But with this she I have finally found something she is happy with. I have no sense of smell and a muted sense of taste acording to her so I taker her word for it. I do think the water tastes better but to her the difference is pronounced. The result is finally we are not constantly hauling car loads of water home. For that is nothing else it is worth it. Very easy to use and works well so far. All I'm putting through it right now is tapwater but it adds some peace of mind knowing it can do more. We're happy with it and have someone else local asking about one so we are passing on out experience with it to them.

I hate drinking chilled water straight from refrigerator. And I was buying purified distilled water plastic bottle. Now I can drink room temperature purified water anytime not having to worry about filling up my small jars or buying plastic bottles. It was easy to set up. Came in a perfect shape. I only use one filter and I bought steel stand from amazon. works perfect for three adults and one baby.

I ordered the alexapure and I also ordered 3 extra filters. Once I received the unit I set it up and put the filter that it came with inside the unit, it would filter one drop of water per second and once the tank was half full it would filter even slower. I changed the filter just now and this one seems to be doing better. The filter that came with the unit was a complete dud. I would either like a refund for the filter or for you to send me a new one that works. I’ve tried calling, multiple times, but no one picks up.

I bought the deluxe system with 4 filters, i only used 2 and take an hour to filter almost 2 gallons of water. The filters are high capacity 5k to 10k gallons of filtration. The unit arrived within 1 week, was very easy to set up in less than 10 minutes. The unit arrived without any paperwork or directions and I went online to the manufacturers site and had them emailed, although directions on youtube were fine.
